My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Check out the following info Jake's recent foster provided about him. If you want to meet him call quick - this guy will go fast! 805-681-5285
"Jake is extremely smart, easy to train, and affectionate. He came with me right away, and as soon as we got to my front door, he started wagging his tail excitedly. Once inside, he happily rolled around on my living room rug and came over to give me kisses. He is still puppyish and likes to chew things (e.g. shoes and socks) so I had to puppy-proof my home. He was not housebroken, but I taught him in just a couple days. The only command he knew was "sit," but on my first day with him he already learned "stay" and we were working on "down." He likes to learn and learns quickly. He has a lot of energy so I took him on long walks but my condo did not provide him as much opportunity to be active as he needs at this stage in his life. He needs a yard with a tall fence. (We've since learned he can jump a 6' fence). When I took him on walks he would wag his tail when we saw other people or dogs. He would get excited to see bunnies, squirrels, or cats. He loves riding in the car. He is very loving. He wanted to be right next to me, and slept on the bed with me. He needs a home where he can be active and receive training, and he will be a fantastic companion."
