Hi, my name is Dakota and I just moved to San Diego so my foster mom could care for me.

I am 9 years old and a strong, sturdy girl weighing in at 70Ibs. I wear my weight very well because I’m a Huskey-Boxer mix. People tell me I’m remarkably sweet and very gentle, and I am! I’m also house trained so I know how to behave. I love being around people, I find car rides thrilling, I never say no to a treat and I love naps, preferably with people. Even though I’m a mature dog I like to play. I mean, you’re never too old to play. I’m not sure yet how I feel about children and cats because I haven’t spent any time with them, but I do like other dogs, as long as they respect my space.

I’m looking for someone kind to care for me and welcome me in to their family. Are you the hooman for me?
