Here's what the humans have to say about me:
JULY 2020: This sweet, gentle little girl is a ‘big’ lapdog who would love it if you sit a lot reading, knitting, napping, watching TV or listening to music. Summer will tolerate another animal on the chair seat, arm or footrest with her packleader, but she prefers to curl up or sprawl across the entire lap herself - as in the photo! At night she expects to sleep on your bed with you. She prefers to eat alone in a crate if there are other animals around. Summer gets along OK with other small dogs her own size who are not overly dominant or agressive; but she’s very shy and delicate, and would preferred to be an “only child” In a quiet household with a secure patio or front porch for sunning on nice days. She’s enjoys short ‘business’ but is NOT a hiker as she has mild Luxating patellas—both knees. These can be seen now that she’s wearing her hair short, but they are not noticeable when her luxurious platinum blonde coat grows back. If you’re looking for a sweet lap warmer who loves laptime with gentle chest & belly rubs, Please visit WrenYorkieRescue.org to read about the adoption process and to print the application form.
