My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Petunia is intelligent, high energy, very fun-loving and extremely affectionate. She has never met a person or dog that is not her best friend. We were hoping Petunia would train to a ranching lifestyle to replace her predecessor, protecting us and our livestock, but she never did get the "working" part. She is all about affection and play and would be a perfect companion & pet. Petunia needs a secure enclosed yard to live and play in. She only seems to roam when she is bored and we are not around. Petunia stays near us when loose and she loves to fetch, Frisbees are a favorite! She is very intelligent and obeys basic commands, i.e. come, stay, sit, down & kennel up. Petunia has lived her whole life outdoors with a spacious kennel to sleep in and we have a large yard. She has never been "house trained." Petunia will be a wonderful pet and member of your family, but she is not good with chickens or other small, non-canine animals.
