TJ the Toy Hoarder is an 8 pound, 6 year old male Chihuahua who came to us from the Orange County shelter, where he arrived as a scared stray pup from the streets of Lake Forest. TJ likes his room at the center, particularly when he has a roommate. TJ will warm up to you, sit in your lap, and give you kisses if you go slowly. He loves his toys - especially squeaky ones. TJ seems to like calm, friendly small dogs. He enjoys his walks. TJ would be happy as an only dog or with a calm companion, with lots of attention...and toys. The PAC-OC requires a completed adoption application, a home check, and an adoption donation. The standard adoption donation is $300. This may vary depending on individual animals and circumstances, which will be outlined in the adoption contract.

The Pet Adoption Center of Orange County is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization that develops and provides creative solutions to find safe, loving, permanent homes for displaced pets in our community.

We offer adoption services, as well as placement and referral services, to successfully match pets with highly compatible people and families. Through public education, we encourage humane pet care and responsible, long-term pet ownership. We bring together people with pets, and individuals with their community, to create the social change needed to achieve our goal of reducing shelter euthanasia rates and eliminating pet overpopulation.
