My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lightning is 3 years old and is one of the sweetest cats I have known. I grew up on a farm with many cats as a measuring stick. His real name should have been Casanova. He loves to sit in my lap when working or cuddle beside me while watching TV. He loves to talk and makes sure I know when it's time for breakfast. He is often found at or on my legs when sleeping at night. He loves to play with any manner of toys that have movement. Lightning is front declawed and so should not go to a home that allows him to be outside.

Unfortunately it has become clear that Lightning would be better off in a home with no small children or other pets. He is timid and hides when my children are around. To my other cats, he is territorial and often chases our elderly cat out of the room. This has been one of the hardest decisions to make. Because we love Lightning so much, we want him to have a home that he can be happy in all the time.
