Brutus loves being brushed, going for walks, butt scratches and his sister Moo (cat- bonded pair).
He and Moo were my mom’s pets. In February, my mom’s health and situation changed drastically, making her unable to care for them. For the last six months, they have lived with me. Unfortunately, he does not get along with one of my dogs. We are hoping to rehome them together if at all possible as Moo is somewhat of a security blanket for Brutus. We would consider rehoming Brutus separately for the right experienced adopter.
We hope he can find a new forever home that will be patient with him and give him the love and care that he deserves.
He is very nervous and selective about who he trusts. It can take him a little while to warm up to you but once he does, he is a very goofy and happy boy. Brutus would do best in a house without kids (older kids might be ok). He is selective about other dogs. He seems to get along best with calm dogs and seems to be fine with cats.
