I've had Ashley since she was born. My family's cat had kittens and I immediately fell in love with her. We later found out that she had be born with only three legs and I actively decided to keep her.
Ashley is about 9 years old and she is such a very sweet and loving cat. Her handicap is anything but that, she is able to play, jump and climb like any other cat. She adores the sun and loves to be snuggled and loved. She is great with other cats and dogs and while she has never been around children I can't imagine they would be an issue.
For her new home it'd set my heart at ease knowing where ever she ends up she will be just as loved and cherished as she has been for the past 9 years. It'd be great if there was another pet in the house, as for the past 4 years she has companionship with my husky. Possibly someone who has experience with watchful outdoors time as this is a new love of hers. She has not been a pet but a friend and family member.
I give her up with a very heavy heart.
