My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are interested in DAISY or in adopting a pup in general, the first step is an adoption application. Download an adoption application here
Please email the completed application to pat.woofriver@gmail.com
Please submit an application rather than an inquiry with no application attached.

DAISY is such a light. She is always so happy and fun to be around. DAISY loves attention and cuddles but not in a clingy way. She self entertains if you are busy but is always up for a game of fetch when you are free! She is obsessed with toys and 90% of the time she will have one in her mouth. DAISY loves her toys so much she will take one outside with her on her walks, leave it on the doorsteps and pick it back up when she comes home. She is so easy going and adjusts well to new schedules. She currently loves to play next to the desk of her foster in the morning, take an afternoon nap on the couch and go on a nice walk in the evening. DAISY is the most perfect car rider, jumps right in the car and sits in the back nicely. She loves meeting and playing with other dogs but if the other dog gets tired of playing, sweet DAISY will just grab a toy and self-entertain. She has done amazing with children and loves getting to meet them on walks.

DAISY would love a home with plenty of toys, long walks and a lot of love!

DAISY is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations including 2 rounds of both the H3N2 and H3N8 canine influenza vaccinations.
Her $490 adoption fee includes her interstate health certificate and the cost of transport to the Midwest after she is officially adopted.

Please email the completed application to pat.woofriver@gmail.com. It typically takes us around 5 BUSINESS DAYS to process an application. We will reach out to you as soon as your application is processed. Thank you in advance for your patience.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Pet Express Transport (https://petexpresstupelo.wordpress.com) for our Nashville, Knoxville and New England adoptions. For our Midwest adopters, we have our own private transport.

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
