Leona is a big love bug at heart, who is shy at first but becomes sweet and loving with those who take the time to get to know her. She's good with other dogs and would fit best in a family who can nurture her and help her open up to her full potential. She is a loyal companion who will stick by your side and bring lots of love to your home. As she has some shy tendencies, it is important that her potential owners have the patience and understanding to help her feel comfortable and safe in her new environment. Valley Oak SPCA will strengthen and celebrate the bond between people and pets by promoting the health, welfare and humane treatment of animals. We will educate and engage our community in responsible pet care and ownership including the importance of spay and neuter surgeries and vaccinations. Valley Oak SPCA will build a new Adoption and Education Center to save more lives, treat more illness and provide much needed education.
