OakâÂÂs never met a person he didnâÂÂt think loved him more than French fries and would have no problem asking strangers for attention and affection. HeâÂÂs super smart, knows his basic commands, is good on a leash, and eager to work for food. Around 1-2 years old, Oak loves his walks and has been good with everyone he's met. Leash walking seemed fairly new to him when rescued, but heâÂÂs mastered that task. All Oak dreams of is an active home who can provide him with the structure a young pup needs so that he'll grow up to be a respectful, happy boy who will continue spreading his joy all over Southern California. ðÂÂÂOak wasn't previously socialized with other dogs and doesn't do well with them. Because of this, he needs to be the only dog in the household and isnâÂÂt compatible with apartment living. HeâÂÂs a mouthy young pup, which isnâÂÂt uncommon at all, but that behavior isnâÂÂt compatible with young children.
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
