My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zena is now available for adoption.
We were told by the former owners, she is Pit Bull/Husky mix. She was born Sept 2019, making her 10 months old.
She has received all 3 sets of core vaccines, has been dewormed, is spayed and is microchipped. She weighs 44 pounds.
She is not leash trained or housebroken. She is much better on a leash now, but still requires patience. She will probably be easy to house train, because she will hold her potty until I let her out of her kennel. She hasn't spent much time inside a home. She is quiet in a crate, but hasn't been crated for more than a few hours.
Zena, with the stunning blue eyes, is a beautiful dog, but she is not for everyone. She is high energy and can sometimes have anxiety, but calms down when I comfort her. She loves to run wide open and will require a home with a fenced in yard. She is sometimes afraid of new people and exhibits the fear with trembling and growling. She is not aggressive, but if a potential adopter isn't experienced with this, it can be misinterpreted. Once I gained her trust, she let me handle her with no issues. Now she comes to me for comfort when she is frightened.
She came with 2 other dogs and was fine with them, but we have not tried her with new dogs. She does love the puppies, though!
Zena was the alpha dog of her litter mates, but now that they are gone, she is all about human affection and wants to please me. She does much better with a structured home with a schedule.
She has not been face to face with any of the cats, but generally ignores them.
She tends to be food/treat protective around other dogs, but fine with me. She should be fed meals and treats separately from other dogs.
Zena is a good dog who needs a family that will be kind and patient with her until she fully realizes that they are her people.
