Please note, we are a Texas based rescue that transports our pups once they are adopted. All of our dogs reside in foster homes, so much is known about their temperament, training level and personality. We know adopting a dog sight unseen can be daunting, so we are happy to share additional videos, photos and even let you Facetime with the pup. Thank you for wanting to adopt!
“As I walked out in the streets of Laredo……” oh, Hi! Just a little Marty Robbins tune about my home town of Laredo!! I arrived in San Antonio courtesy of Hay Dude Critter Rescue to help me find my furever home! The shelter staff at Laredo kept me off the euthanasia list for over a month because of my good nature, they just knew that I deserved a chance (thanks, folks; I won't let you down!!)
Unlike my namesake, the iconic Mr. Chuck Norris, I am a happy go lucky, always smiling kind of dude...😊 What Chuck and I have in common is our athleticism and positive outlook on life...I am a muscular little guy for a 10 month pup!! I enjoy running through the sprinklers, wrastlin' with the other foster pups, and going for walks..man, do I love getting to go out for a walk!! I love the new smells and sights of unexplored territory!!
I love other dogs, hoomans, and life in general. I am smart and personable. Like my namesake, I am an action adventure guy, and would do best in a home that likes to exercise.
I am a gorgeous Labrador Retriever/Stafforshire Terrier mix, UTD on my shots, fixed, and weigh about 38 pounds. I will be on the smaller side for a Lab mix when fully growed..probably around 45 pounds....depending on snack intake.....did I mention that I LOVE snacks :) My upbeat demeanor and sweet smile is infectious and is sure to bring joy to your household.
