Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Thalia is being fostered in PA. Take a look at what Thalia's foster mom has to say about her below:
What we know about Thalia:
* blind, will have one eye removed
*housebroken
*good with dogs
*shy
*needs work on leash walking
Thalia Update 10/2/20 – Thalia is doing great and becoming more familiar in her foster home. She is opening up and more accepting of attention, even starting to try and play with the other dogs. She is getting better walking around on a leash, less scared. She has become more trusting than when she first came to her foster home. Thalia has also picked up much need weight and is looking great.
Thalia has been spayed and had her ouchy eyes removed. She is ready and sniffing for her furever home now.
Thalia is a very sweet, but shy, 8 year old Australian/German Shepherd mix. She is house trained and will start to bark if she needs to go outside. Thalia needs a home with a fence so she can just roam around the yard. It seems she was never leash trained, so has not gone on walks. We are working with her to become familiar with leash walking. She likes to be in the same area where people are. She is fine with other dogs, but best she be with a dog over 25 lbs. She can be an only dog as well since she doesn't really play with the dogs she is around. She has never shown any kind of dislike for anything we do to her, great getting her nails trimmed. Thalia just wants a quiet home to relax and enjoy the company of her people.
BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
