My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lovey and Powder are a purrfectly bonded pair, these sisters are each other's best friends in the entire world and will need to be adopted together!

Gorgeous sisters Lovey and Powder were rescued alongside their large family after they had been living in an abandoned farm house, not one of them was neutered or spayed and so their family just kept growing!

When the twins came into our care, both were unsurprisingly already pregnant from their time outside and were ready to pop with babies very soon. They ended up raising seven healthy, precious kittens TOGETHER as a team, two mamas new to the whole ‘indoor cat’ thing but already putting their best paws forward for their newest little family members.

The second you sit down, don’t be surprised if you suddenly find yourself with an armful of pristine white fur and loud purrs... Lovey and Powder have no problem whatsoever making themselves comfortable right on your lap as soon as the opportunity presents itself! It goes without saying that they are incredibly friendly kitties who thrive off of attention from their human friends, so don’t be afraid to shower them with love, hugs, and kisses!

Lovey and Powder are loyal sidekicks through and through, they will scamper to meet you at the door as soon as they hear you coming in a little race to see who will be the first to say ‘Hello, human!’. If you manage to catch them in a moment of quiet, they are likely to be snuggling or grooming one another, or gazing out the window at the world outside.

If they had to choose, Lovey and Powder would say that their favourite type of scratchers are the cardboard kind, although they aren’t picky! The girls are very fond of digging their nails into regular ol’ cardboard boxes as well, really just anything that they can play with makes them happy.

The foster home that they have been staying in has two dogs, and although they have not directly interacted with the puppies much, just living under the same roof is a great step towards the girls getting used to a canine companion in their future forever home!
