My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jack Daniels is a 5-7 year old Plott Hound that was picked up as a nearly-starved stray. He is as sweet as they come, and absolutely LOVES children; he is being fostered in a home with a 5 year old boy and two teenagers. He has excellent leash manners, loves to go for car rides and is housetrained. Still underweight now, he's getting closer to his ideal weight of about 85 lbs. Understandably, he loses all manners around food and is best fed in his crate. Jack is not a barker at random things, but does have a beautiful howl. He's not a fan of being left alone, so he has his own safe space in a crate with comfy blankets. Jack loves his people and would do best as a solo dog in a house with people willing to give him lots of attention. He is being fostered in central Virginia.
