My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Joey is guessed to be 6 months and 25 pounds. Joey and his siblings came to us in horrible condition. They were very anemic, malnourished, emaciated, covered in fleas and had missing fur and horrible skin issues. They have come a long way since then. Their skin is looking better and fur is starting to grow back. Since Joey came to us underweight and malnourished we are not sure if he will ever catch up to the size he should have been had he gotten the right nutrition and care from early on, so for that reason we are saying he will be medium to large full grown. The vet said he’s a lab mix but if we are being honest he’s probably a mix of a few different breeds. We are thinking lab, heeler and terrier. Joey got his name because when he plays he bounces around and it made me think of a baby kangaroo. He loves to play and is a very sweet boy. He seems super smart and very trainable. He does need a home without cats. He is $100 to adopt. If interested in adopting the first step is to fill out an application at www.clevelandareapoundpals.com We are foster based so we won’t set up a meet and greet until your application is approved. This does not obligate you to adopt if you meet him and it’s not a good fit. This just helps us weed out the serious committed adopters from the spur of the moment ones. We want to help find you just the right fit for your family just as much as we want to find our dogs the right fit.
