My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Flora! Flora is a 2.5 year old Russian Blue mix kitty who came to us after her previous owners threw her and her 2 siblings, Fauna and Fitz, out after they had moved! Our rescuers quickly snatched them up and made sure they were brought to us, safe and sound. Flora is a sweet girl who is a tripod (3-legged)! It seems like she's been like that since birth, since she has a remainder of her elbow left that is underdeveloped. It doesn't affect her at all since she has likely had it since she was born! She also has adorable, slightly crossed-eyes (also since birth and doesn't affect her). Flora has a sweet, loving personality. She loves being pet and held, though she does take a tiny bit of time to open up to you initially (just as most cats are). Flora would appreciate a home where she can get lots of affection and love. She is a wonderful candidate to be a lapcat! She loves to purr in your lap, though not for long because she's always ready for action! Flora loves to play with laser pointers especially.

We think Flora would be a good fit for just about any family. She gets along great with new cats, but she also doesn't mind being on her own. She also has tested well with dogs, and she's very sweet and gentle and doesn't mind the loud and roudy-ness of kids in the home!

In Flora's photos, it looks like he has a tiny amount of goop in her eyes - it's nothing major, she is currently being treated (starting 8/31) for that eye goop! She just came in with the goop - simple eye antibiotics for a week will clear it. She is free of any other known medical issues.

If you are looking for a hypoallergenic cat, please opt for a different cat. We tested her with someone with allergies, and they did have a mild reaction. She is NOT fully Russian Blue.

If an animal is posted, they are VERY likely available. Please fill out an adoption app to get the best chance at being considered rather than contacting directly.

If you are interested in adopting and think you can provide a great home for this pet, please complete an online application so that we can better assess if this pet is a good match for you and your family. Once that is complete and we've approved your application, we can set up a time for you to meet your potential companion for life!
