My story

Gandhi is such a sweet, friendly fellow. He was born in 2015 and weighs 75 lbs. He gets along great with other dogs, large or small, and loves to be with his people. Gandhi is house-trained and a pleasure to have around. He is playful, but not rough. He is great with his doggie buddies, playing chase and tug-a-war, rolling around and playing kissy-face. He enjoys a good game of fetch with his human buddies as well as long walks. He will even fetch his toys out of the swimming pool. Gandhi also likes to just hang out and get attention or cuddle up while you read or watch TV. He is up to any experience as long as he is with the his people.. Gandhi is a peaceful boy who just wants love to rule his world.

Go meet their pets

Located in the Mission area, Cinderella Pet Rescue, as an all-volunteer organization, schedules appointments for people to meet the animals at the shelter or in a foster home. Additionally pets are taken twice monthly to pet store for adoption events. Dates and locations are posted on our website and Facebook page.

More about this rescue

Formed in 2008, Cinderella Pet Rescue was established to rescue animals from abuse, neglect and abandonment and to help prepare the for adoption. Additionally CPR promotes spay/neuter to reduce the serious homeless pet crisis in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. An all volunteer organization, there are normally between 55 and 65 dogs at our no-kill shelter as well as a couple dozen cats. Even more pets are placed in foster homes in preparation for adoption. Not funded by anyone, Cinderella Pet Rescue counts on donations and fundraisers to support the needs of the animals in care, from food to veterinary treatment. More volunteers and foster homes are always needed.
