Disclaimer: All rescue dogs may have a percentage of pit bull or Staffordshire breeds in them.

We also do not adopt to anyone who lives out of the state of Colorado. NO exceptions!

I need a single family home with a fenced in yard since I require lots of physical and mental stimulation!

I was born around 7/23/2019 and I am a male German Shepherd mix!

Marlon is an adventure dog! He loves hiking, running and going for long walks. He has lots of puppy energy and wants a family that will keep him active. He needs a home with no kids under 13, and no other cats/dogs. He loves cuddling and belly rubs and will try to climb onto your lap to snuggle. He is good on a leash and is working on not barking at other dogs. He needs a family that wants to work with him and train him and, in return, he will be your best friend! I would do best in a home where I can people with my family, I am scared when alone. Abandonment takes time to heal, can you help me with that?

More about this rescue

Douglas County Canine Rescue, or DCCR as we like to call our organization is about one thing, helping dogs in need! Douglas County Canine Rescue, is a 501 c3 non- profit, no kill, animal rescue. Our mission is to rescue abandoned animals, spay, neuter and provide medical care, and then put them with foster homes until we get them adopted into the loving homes that they need and deserve! Douglas County Canine Rescue does not have a facility. We rely solely on the kindness and generosity of animal lovers who open their hearts to help us take care of the animal orphans that desperately need help.
