My story

Hi!! My name is Lucas, and I love ALL humans! Especially snuggles from humans. Snuggling is my favorite. I love attention from big and tiny humans alike. Walks are my favorite, and I'm very good at running, but any activity is fantastic! I even recently learned how to swim! If you're an active human, I would love to be your companion!! Even though I love being active, I love sitting on the couch, watching tv, reading a book, or napping, especially if it would be with you!

I am very well trained; potty-trained, crate-trained, leash-trained, and I listen well to commands like sit, stay, lay down, heel, even shake!  I keep attending dog training, so I can continue to improve my craft.

While relaxing at home, I am interested in everyday human activities. Many things you humans use are so new to me, so I like to be near you to watch and learn. Truthfully a few things make me anxious, and I'm still working to understand. I am unsure of how to act or socialize with other dogs or animals. I struggle when they are near me. My foster mom and I are working on it, but she thinks it's best if I'm in a home without other pets. I must be clear, though, I'm not one of those dogs who bark out the window at every animal on the sidewalk. I do get protective of my humans when seeing another dog. However, my training has helped me understand that other dogs are not taking my foster mom away from me. I'm sure you would keep me safe too! Otherwise, I let my foster mom work, and I play with my toys or nap. I'm an adorable companion! What more could you want?! Please say me!!!
