Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bear is the sweetest, loving, gentle GS you can imagine...except with our chocolate Lab. We inherited Bear recently, and Bear displays aggressive behavior towards Porter (our Lab), and it's likely due to Bear's attempt to establish himself as the Alpha dog, and Porter refuses to yield. According to Bear’s vet, he has shown aggressive behavior toward other dogs in the past. I have known Bear for four years, and he has NEVER demonstrated aggressive behavior towards any humans, including my granddaughters (9 and 11 the last time they saw and loved on Bear). He just needs to be the only dog in the home where he resides. Bear is well-trained, smart (I had him going to the bathroom in the designated spot in the yard the second time he had to “go”), disciplined, isn’t a “barker”, loves walks, loves time with his peeps, likes being outdoors and follows commands well. We have a nice bed, his toys, vet records, adoption paperwork and his food. I wish we didn't have to give Bear up; he's awesome!
