Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sirius came to us about a month ago from a friend who couldn’t care for him anymore. He was rescued from a shelter by them around the age of 6 months. He was found abandoned by someone who brought him to the shelter.
He is UTD on shots and is nurtured. He LOVES other dogs and will constantly want to play with them. He is nervous around new people at first, especially men. We believed he was abused early on by people. This has led him to have some self confidence issues. He gets scared of many things and needs some work building his confidence up. Once he warms up to you (which doesn’t take long) he is really a sweetheart. He loves scratches and rubs and chew toys. He loves squeaker toys and antlers especially!
We have found while fostering him, that if there is another dog around he feeds and relies heavily on them. If there isn’t another dog then he will rely more on his people. He knows basic commands, but is still very stubborn about listening without food motivation.
