Rocco is 5 months old, about 30 lb and about 15 in Long when standing. The shoe in the picture is 10.5 in.
Original owners were going to abandon him. Our house is already full of pets.
He's friendly, playful, and eager to be by a person's side. He is a very kind dog. when our husky growls at him he doesn't return the aggressive behavior. He also doesn't run away. He stays by the owner's side when walking unleashed from backyard to front door.
some negative attributes of his that we're working on are that he likes to jump on people because he gets too excited. he tends to run out of the gate but he doesn't run away. he always stays by a person's side. he just knows that you're about to leave and he wants to be with you. I had my first training session with him today and he knows how to sit and I taught him how to stay. It was actually kind of fun. we're more cat people but it was interesting to see. When I told him to stay he didn't run out of the gate so it worked. very bright.
