Miss Myrtle came to the shelter in terrible shape. Her teeth were bad, her skin was a mess and infected and she had yeasty ears. She had no chance. At the vet we learned she had a serious auto-immune anemia. TLC always does bloodwork on senior dogs. It's a good thing we did. Myrtle could have bled to death in surgery.
TLC pulled her and she is now a new dog. She has been a bit expensive though so donations are gratefully accepted. Myrtle has not yet been spayed since we had to deal with her terrible skin issue and her teeth. Her mouth is healing well and soon she will be spayed.
