My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NEEDS SPONSOR AND RESCUE
Has $30 sponsor.

Beautiful young, under a year, hound girl. Found as a stray skinny, weary, and oh so ready for someone to come to her aid!  She is very gentle and sweet. No more hungry wandering days for this sweetie. She's a bit camera shy but does like her doggie coat though! Weighs about 38 lb now, but needs to gain weight. She did well in her bath. Sleeps like an angel in her crate. Fine with other dogs, very submissive to them. As far as cats, she will bark and try to tree cats outside but she was nose to nose with Kali-Neko kitty before her bath and the tail was wagging and she actually seemed to enjoy Kali head bonking her. Her paw pads are a bit tender but I think that is from wandering.

Godiva pulls on a lead but not horrible. She was fine with me putting it on her. While on our walk we heard gunshots in the distance and she went wild, pulling hard, wanting to go chase after the gunshot. So yes, she was most likely a hunting dog that got lost. Probably not afraid of thunder if she's not afraid of gunshots.

12/30 update: Doing much better on a lead, did not pull once on her walk this morning.
