My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

3/28: Maggie's dental/bloodwork/vetting fundraiser has filled.  Thank you sponsors! She has an appointment with the vet next week.

3/25 update from foster: Miss Maggie loves tennis balls and she fetches. She had Strider in stitches tonight. She settled down on the dog bed with the bunny ball and is still chewing on it. I tried to get a pic of her carrying it around but she kept turning her back to me. She is too cute for words!

3/23 update from foster: We need to get dental on Miss Maggie. Her teeth are pretty bad and gums are very swollen with a bulbous spot over the incisor. Left side of her muzzle is a bit swollen. She is so sweet and she LOVES Strider. Millie is already trying to pal up with her.   She was 4DX tested negative & fecal tested/dewormed with Drontal on 3/21. Maggie was already spayed before she was dumped in a shelter.

3/21: Maggie is currently being vetted and will be arriving in foster care within the next week.

Shelter Bio: Maggie Mae has had a good life as a house dog for many years. She was happy and expected to live out her life without having to move. But everything changed when her owner's health failed. Maggie found herself at 9-10 years old having to relocate, but she had no place to go. She didn't like leaving her home and family at this stage of her life. She liked her life the way things were. Now she finds herself in the shelter with all of the other homeless pets. She must compete with much younger dogs also looking for homes. She has been spayed and has been around and loves children. Maggie is okay with cats and dearly loves her treats. She's through with the puppy chewing, too, She would really like to go home! Please consider this good girl.
