My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our rambunctious tabby gal Cinderella may have the name of a princess, but don’t be fooled into thinking she’s dainty, poised, or delicate in any way... Cinderella is a total party animal, and fun is practically her middle name!

Cinderella first became a member of Furry Friends when she was discovered living in a burned down, abandoned building. Understandably, upon arrival she was not a happy camper - All of the new smells, sounds, and cats had her freaked right out, and she let us all know how unhappy she was with some impressive growls and hissing! Luckily within a few days Cinderella realized that the change of scenery was for the best, and she mellowed out into the talkative and playful kitty she is today.

When we say Cinderella is talkative, we mean that you had better be ready to carry on a good conversation at least a few times a day! Cinderella absolutely loves to chat and sing as you go about your business near her, and she will often happily meow right up until the moment you finally start petting her. Even if you’re massaging her soft forehead or rubbing her cheeks, Cinderella often will keep chirping and grumbling away to tell you how much she loves the attention.

Cinderella can be picked up and carried without much trouble, and she even likes to snuggle up on your lap once in a while when she’s not too busy trying to find a toy to play with or another kitty to sniff. When you brush or rub Cinderella’s soft coat of fur, she likes to stretch waaaay out and make sure that you can reach all of her good spots (they’re all good spots, Cinderella isn’t picky)!

After living on her own for a while, it’s not surprising that this girl has a fantastic appetite for food: Wet food, dry kibble, treats, it’s all delicious! Cinderella is especially fond of Friskies temptations, and she will stand right up on her hind legs to become as tall as she can in an effort to gently steal the treats from your hands. With how much she loves to talk, you can bet that the second Cinderella hears the treat bag come out she’s already singing excitedly for her snack.

Overall, Cinderella is the kind of kitty who prefers to be on her own rather than with other cats, unless they are particularly calm and laid back. She never fights, never causes trouble or anything like that, but she puts that hiss to good use to let her fellow felines know to back off if they start to bother her!
