Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lux was just a puppy when we got her about 13 years ago. She is generally healthy, but is on a special diet prescribed by her vet. She loves people as long as they are over about 5 years old. We have a toddler in the house now and therein lies the problem. Lux growls at our grandson, and will nip at him if he gets too close or approaches her too quickly. She just doesn’t want to get stepped on or handled too aggressively. She usually gets that “embarrassed dog” look afterwards, but we do not want to risk having her actually bite our grandson.
Otherwise, she is very friendly. Right or wrong, we’ve always allowed her to hop up on the couch and sit with us, and she will do this with friends too without a second thought. She barks when she’s excited (when visitors arrive), but usually leaks a little in the process. Her bed is in our bedroom. If we are in the home, she wants to be near us.
She is cute and sweet and people always think she is still a puppy.
