My story

Say hello to Rubble! This cutie is a 3 year old, 15 pound, chihuahua/ dachshund mix. He has a long, muscular body with short, strong legs and adorable little feet that turn just slightly outwards. He has the cutest baby face with ears that can make anyone smile!

Not only are his looks adorable, but his personality is even sweeter! He loves all people, is extremely playful with other pups, does great in car rides, and loves going for walks. His perfect forever home has another playful dog that's about his size. It would be a bonus if he had some kids to play with and snuggle.

Rubble is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and heart worm negative. He's house trained, crate trained, and dog door trained. He's an all around good boy! His adoption fee is $350. For the chance to adopt Rubble, please complete an application at happytailsaz.org.

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. In July of 2009 we joined together with fellow rescuers on a mission to save a pack of about 30 dogs from the Fort McDowell Casino area and by the end of the year we had rescued over 80 dogs from there! AZ Happy Tails is committed to the rescue and placement of stray, abandoned, and e-listed animals as well. We think all pets deserve caring and compassionate homes, and the chance to live healthy, happy lives in safe environments. We strive to educate and raise awareness of the importance of animal respect and appreciation.
