Meet Max,
Max is a gorgeous Shepherd mix who is about 4 years old and is full grown at about 75-85lbs. Max loves playing with other dogs and toys but are also an amazing snugglers. He is a happy go lucky boy with all who meets him, he will make a great companion for any home. Max wants a home that is committed to taking him to obedience classes while continuing his socialization. He needs a person/family who will provide him with a life of mental and physical stimulation while keeping him safe and happy. Max is young so he will need a plan if there are longer workdays, so he is not spending too much time in a crate.
Max came to us with his buddy Alex, their owners where being cited for having to many animals and needed help. They reached out to us about these two boys and we welcomed two amazing souls into our rescue program.
We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY, appointments ONLY from 11am-1pm and OPEN to anyone from 1pm-5pm but EACH SUNDAY is DIFFERENT. To see if we are having a Sunday event you must visit our FACEBOOK page the morning of Sunday. You MUST submit an APPLICATION via email in hopes to get an appointment, our application is found on our website lovejoyfoundation.org. If you do not get a phone call by Friday then we did not have anything available for you or the pet of interest was adopted before we got you application.PLEASE UNDERSTAND sending an inquiry through any site other than submitting an application through lovejoyfoundation.org IS NOT an application for the dog/puppy/ or kitten you're interested in, as it is JUST an INQUIRY. We are a Southern California based rescue, we do not adopt out more than a 30 minute radius. We appreciate you being understanding and Patient as we attempt to go back to a new normal.
