This sweet girl is having a bit of a struggle adjusting to being a house dog. She loves to be where all the action is, but wants to watch from the safety of her little hideout. At my house she has a very small crate (with the door removed) right below the microwave and she doesn't miss a thing. If I sit down at the kitchen table she pops out and tries to climb into my lap for kisses and a bite of whatever I'm eating. The other day she got so excited when I scratched her under her chin that she did zoomies around the room. Otherwise we don't she much of her. When we do see her she looks much happier than she does in this photo. She gets along fine with the other dogs but not much interaction. She might be alright as an only dog. Definitely needs an experienced terrier person to teach her the rest of the benefits of being a house pet. Training classes might be a help to her. Her brother, Rider, was adopted before the covid confinement. He is a little guy and she is a big girl. They have the same faces and coloring, but he has a lot more confidence. She will get there, but it is going to take time and patience to pull it out of her.
