My story

Adira Grace is 7-9 yrs old and is roughly 60 lbs, microchipped and up to date on shots. Adira is completely potty trained and will let you know she has to go out, she is crate trained, and knows her basic commands. She’s a very strong girl and needs more leash training as she is ready to go for those walks. Adira is blind and probably has been since birth however that does not slow her down. Adira is extremely treat motivated and while she loves kids she will steal their food. She needs to be an only dog and no cats I believe because of her loss of sight she's a little anxious with other animals. She is the funniest girl I have fostered in a long time. She will keep you entertained even though she's on the older side and blind don't let her fool you she can be as energetic.

Why adoption is a great option

Adira, a Zuni Pit Bull Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Zuni, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Zuni.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Zuni already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Zuni breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Zuni paves the way for another one to be saved.
