Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Elvis is a 6 year old Shih Tzu Poodle mix whom we acquired as a puppy. His new home can not have children or cats. He will need to be adopted by someone who can take the time to work on his behavioral flaws, preferably someone experienced. He is fearful and aggressive towards strangers, especially men and guards resources (items/people). This has not been an issue for our older children but we have toddlers which need to be kept well away from him. I am not sure how he would do in a home with another dog or dogs. He does currently live with a slightly younger small dog. Elvis loves to snuggle, run and fetch toys (not balls, lol). He is a loyal companion, great lap dog, loves going on walks and enjoys chasing wildlife in our large yard. Elvis is crate trained and knows a couple basic commands like "in" for crating, "outside", and "down". He is overdue for a grooming so he is quite shaggy at the moment. It is with a heavy heart that I must re-home him for his/our safety and well-being.
