My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Darcey & Fiona!! Both about 40 lbs & 3 years old.

Both were rescued from Pinal County Animal Care & Control in Casa Grande and were unadaptable because they were so scared.

These girls love me but will be fearful in a new environment. They trust me & would let me do anything to for the most part. It will take time for them to get to that point with someone new. These girls are best friends. They actually came from the same place and once they were reunited they really blossomed out of their shells.

Fiona is the more social one of the two. She often runs up to greet me & lays by my feet while I'm working. She plays, frolics and jumps around. She's literally so cute! She LOVES other dogs & gets everyone to play with her-- even the grouchy ones!

Darcey is the more calm one. She plays with Fiona and mostly just tolerates the other dogs.

Neither have ever once had an accident. They are kennel trained but also do great when left to roam in/out of the doggie door.

Whoever adopts these girls definitely need to have crates for them. It is their safezone! So please- don't feel guilty about putting them in one. They like it & it is like a den. They go in their crates all the time with the door wide open & when they don’t even need to be in there. If not crated when unsupervised they may get into the trash or counter surf for goodies.

Both girls are HIGHLY food motivated & I promise you this is how you will win their trust! This duo just needs someone willing to give the time, structure & love! If you are a patient & child free home, preferably familiar with fearful dogs- you may be the home for for these divas! Let us know!

Both girls are dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped, spayed & 4dx tested negative (tick fever, anaplasma, lyme disease & heartworm).
