Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ovi and his companion, Miso, are a bonded pair of piggies who would like to meet you! The pair were returned to the Rescue because of allergies in the family.They require gentle handling as they are quite shy; so we don't feel they would be suitable for a family with young children.

Ovi is a handsome orange, brown and white neutered male who was born in the Rescue in April of 2018. His mom arrived already pregnant and delivered three healthy boys. Although Ovi is a little shy, he is gentle and very sweet. He loves lap time and receiving forehead scratches. He also wheeks extremely loudly when he thinks it is time for you to give him a veggie treat, and of course he always thinks it is time for snacks!

Miso is a charming black and cream piggie with an adorable crest. She will also be 2 years old this spring. Miso and three of her babies were pulled from a local shelter because they were going to be euthanized. Poor Miso was already pregnant again (this time with five babies). She was an extremely caring and attentive mom even though the back-to-back pregnanices were tough on her. Miso enjoys lap time as well and is so happy being doted on by her human family and having the company of Ovi.

Ovi and Miso have an excellent appetite and enjoy fresh vegetables, piles of hay and Oxbow pellets every day. The pair will need to live in a Rescue-required Cubes and Coroplast cage of at least 2 cubes by 4 cubes. The cage must be located in a part of the house the family spends time in so everyone can enjoy their company. We also ask that anyone adopting them lives a reasonable driving distance from Rockville, or Frederick MD.
