My story

Quincy is a handsome guy! He is moderate to higher energy and needs daily exercise. Quincy is also part of our `Pets in Progress Program` where special needs pets get extra assistance from staff and volunteers. Quincy can be fearful of new people and may need to have multiple visits before he is able to go home. Quincy walks well on leash and appears housebroken. He loves toys and his volunteer friends. Once he lets you into his circle of friends, he will wiggle when he sees you. He loves to give doggie hugs. He participates in playgroup, also.

No children.
No pets in the home. May play with some dogs outside of the home.

Manatee County Animal Services is now open by appointment only. In an effort to offer optimal customer service and adoption counseling, MCAS requires visitors to fill out an adopter profile and arrange an online appointment prior to their visit to our shelters.
