Hey there, my name is Walter. I am an senior. The vet believes that I am between 12 and 14 years old. Don't let my age fool you, I still like to run around the yard and be near people. My vision is a little bad as I only have 10 to 20% of my vision left. This just means I need a little heads up before you touch me or I get startled and i may bump into things. I shake when you first pick me up but once you cuddle me I relax in your arms. I love my head scratched. My teeth are worn down so I may need some dental work in about year. The vet also gave me some GREAT news, I am Heartworm Negative. I have some "wart-like" growths that the vet say are not an issue. These nice people over here at Friendswood Animal Control did take me to the groomer the other day. I got a fresh new hair cute and bath. I feel like a new guy and enjoyed prancing around the yard so everyone could see my new look. So if you're looking for an older friend to sit with you, but still has spunk to go and play outside then I'M YOUR GUY!!!
