We’d like to introduce you all to Pepper. Pepper is 2 years old. Isn’t she lovely? She’s been in our rescue for about a year now and hasn’t had any serious inquiries yet. We think we know why Pepper continues to get overlooked and we will explain why, but we know her perfect home is out there. A little about Pepper. She was found at an apartment complex abandoned with her 8, yes, I said 8, kittens! Pepper was a wonderful mom to her kittens. Her kittens grew up and were adopted quickly into wonderful homes. However, Pepper didn’t do well at adoption events or the store cattery so she remained at home with her foster mom. Pepper was super shy and didn’t want any attention. She wasn’t aggressive or anything like that, she was just very shy. So here she sits in limbo waiting for her forever home. Her foster mom now reports that Pepper has come a long way. She jumps on her foster mom’s lap to be petted and sleeps with her in her donut bed! She’s pretty playful as well and loves chasing a laser pointer. Pepper would be a great companion for someone who has a quiet home with no other pets. Ideally, Pepper’s parent/parents would have enough patience to let her decompress in her new home (which could take up to a month), let her lounge around and bird watch from her cat tree and shower her with attention, when she’s ready. We know there is someone out there for Pepper. Pepper’s birthday is 2/10/19. She is spayed and current on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $125. For more information about Pepper contact her foster mom Becky at

More about this rescue

We are a kitten rescue. We take in bottle babies, orphan kittens under the age of 8 weeks, pregnant and nursing mama cats. We get these kitties from private parties who have found them ----from shelters where they are in danger of being put down and from people who can no longer care for their pets. We put them in fosters homes and care for them until good homes can be found.
