My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This long haired chihuahua is Ricky. He was surrendered by his owner and we believe he had never lived inside a home or been fed regularly until he was taken in by one of our fosters. He just loves the other dogs in his foster home and follows them around everywhere so Ricky would do great in a home with other dogs. HIs foster says that Ricky is a sweetheart and once he gets comfortable with you he prefers to be picked up like a baby.

Ricky is low heartworm positive and has a heart murmur related to the heartworms. He is on monthly medication for the heartworms and we will continue to pay for that until he tests heartworm negative. Due to the rescue paying for the heartworm medication Ricky's adopter will need to be in the Metro Houston area
