Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Amara was picked up as a stray in south TX. She had been injured, probably hit by a car. She has had a lot of TLC and numerous x-rays. By the time we received her, she had already started to heal and the ortho surgeon opted to put her on crate rest rather than do surgery. She does walk with a limp and favors her back leg, but she is not in pain and it should get better in time.
She is about 8 pounds, and around three years old. She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys people of all ages. She has had all of her shots, is heartworm negative and on preventative. She is spayed and will be microchipped at the time of adoption. She is located in the Dallas, TX area.
She is a very sweet girl and would do best in a home where she is not left alone for long periods of time.
Her adoption fee is $250.
