My story

Hi! My name is Angel! I am a sweet girl that came to the ranch after living as a stray. When I first arrived I needed some medical care and the great staff and volunteers at the Ranch showed me lots of love, patience, and attention. I am now doing really well and enjoy my play time in the yard with people. I can be a little selective about my dog friends (so I require a proper introduction to new canine friends.) That being said, I had two doggy roommates during my time at Big Dog Ranch Rescue and we got along just fine. Because I was a stray I need a strong handler and need training to improve my leash manners. I can be possessive of my food so I should always be fed separately from other animals and people. I am so appreciative to have been rescued and can't wait to go to my new furever home! As with many dogs, I get anxious when thunder storms arrive, so take special care to let me be near you and tell me that everything will be ok.
