My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Godiva is approximately 7 years old and weighs about 65 pounds. We believe her to be a pit/pointer mix (best guess ). She is spayed, up to date on all vaccines and just completed heartworm treatment. She is housebroken and has perfect manners in the home.

Godiva is a good girl who found herself in horrible condition when her owner couldn't or wouldn't care for her. She had a horrible skin infection, a severe eye infection, she was heartworm positive and had several fractured teeth. Lucky for her, her "owner" surrendered her to the shelter and then she entered our care. ALL her medical needs were addressed and today she is a happy, healthy heartworm FREE beautiful girl.

Godiva is now looking for a family, not an "owner".

Godiva would benefit from a quiet, predictable home with not a lot of people coming and going. Godiva likes quiet. Godiva can be a little nervous around some men, but can warm up. No children, as they make her nervous.

Godiva is fun and silly. She enjoys cuddling in soft comfy beds or couches, chewing her favorite bones and warming herself in the sun. She needs a patient adopter who will make her feel safe, secure and loved. She needs a little time to adjust and warm up, once she does, she will be the sweetest friend.

She can get along with calm, submissive dogs, with proper and slow introductions. No cats or small dogs. Godiva would also enjoy a fenced in yard to she can enjoy her sunbathing!

Godiva is located in Spring Hill Pasco County. Please message us here or email us at lovetotherescueinc@gmail.com if you are interested.
