My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Currently available: A litter of 8 puppies - 11 week old blue healer mix (the dad was possibly a white hairy dog, that sly neighbor!) Very social and well behaved puppies! I think these will be easy to potty train as they only use the designated area provided to them. These are some smart pups!
2. Gracie - female with cream marbled body and a brown patch over each eye.
3. Woody - male with mostly gray marbling but some brown on feet. Grayish brown patches over each eye.
5. Hannah - female with gray marbled body and a black patch over left eye.
6. Buzz - male super fluffy gray marbled body with a black patch over left eye.
7. Burt - male with cream marbled body and brown patches over both eyes.
8. Heidi - female with mostly gray marbled body but some brown on feet. Black patches over both eyes.
Adoption fees for these pups will be $200. Once you submit an application through the web site we will review and contact.
Can't adopt but want to help? Sponsor one of these dogs by sending a donation to our paypal. Any amount helps! use gatewayareahumane@gmail address through paypal.

To express your interest, please complete an adoption application: https://gatewayareahumane.com/adopt/adoption-application/. NOTE: A completed application is required for all adoptions and prior to any visitations. Completing the app does not guarantee approval nor does it obligate you to adopt if approved. We are an all-volunteer organization, and do this in our spare time (we have day jobs) so all visits/adoptions are by appointment only.
Keep in mind, any pet is a lifelong commitment, not a quarantine distraction. When considering adoption remember what life is like when we are back to work/school, busy with hobbies or kids' activities and unable to (or uninterested in) spend most of the time at home. Dogs are incredibly social creatures and do not do well left alone for long periods every day. All of our dogs will only be adopted to people who believe that pets are family and act accordingly. A fenced yard is required.
