*** COURTESY POST ***
This dog is not at PAL. He is with the present owner.
Meet TEDDY!
The owner is extremely heartbroken but due to her negative long-term health issues (uses a walker now), she must rehome TEDDY.
The present owner had TEDDY for only two years. The previous owner had TEDDY for 13 years. This sweet guy needs his forever home!
Per Owner: TEDDY is an extremely “easy dog”; very friendly (due to his age best with adults only); loves people and is always near his mom; good with dogs (lived with an older dog in previous home); cats unknown (will chase outside kitties in his yard); is low/medium energy; will jump up on you; likes to take daily walks (excellent on a leash) and run around his yard; has a great appetite; is extremely quiet and has a “soft bark”; so so in a car, as he is nervous; is completely housetrained and will go outside or on a pee pad (when alone); is completely trustworthy when alone in a home. Not a great fan of a crate.
TEDDY is 17 years young; now 19 lbs. (approx. 3-5 lbs. overweight); is neutered and up to date on vaccination. TEDDY is in excellent health (eats regular dog food; no medication for this guy). He received complete bloodwork 10/19; had a wellness exam 10/20 and the vet stated he may need a dental due to some tarter.
He is a very handsome tan and white purebred Rat Terrier with perky ears and docked tail.
Please be familiar with and research his breed.
