RESCUING HERMAN
Herman was a stray that had been roaming in Paulding County for a while. He has some mobility issues and a large abscess. The pound is no place for a senior to rest their head. Lucky for Herman, one of our loving foster families stepped up for him and he got his freedom ride on September 23rd, 2020.
ABOUT HERMAN
Herman was inquisitive about his new surroundings, but settled in quickly. He is a really good laid back dog, total coach potato. Our best guess is he is around 11-12 years old. As an experienced gentleman, he has some mobility issues on his hind legs, but he is on joint supplements to help give him some strength. Herman is a calm guy who enjoys sunbathing and sleeping in a comfy spot. You can walk into his room and he won't even move. He is a quiet soul who takes life slowly and has no complaints. He enjoys being petted and will freely give kisses to whomever lets him. Herman does great with all of the dogs in his foster home including a chihuahua. He has not been cat tested but we think he would do fine. He minds his own business and just wants continued love and treats, lots of treats! We know he is a senior dog but he deserves to have his own forever family and we know there is one out there for him. He would need a home with no stairs as these are difficult for him.
Our adoption fee is $300. All dogs are current on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, on heartworm prevention, and are fed top of the line grain-free food. If you are interested in learning more about Herman or want to adopt him please complete an adoption application at: https://www.friendstotheforlorn.org/adoption-application/
