INDY is a sweet young malamute/shepherd mix that is ready to learn that people can be amazing! In her young life she has already been bounced around quite a bit and is ready to settle into a home where she can let her true personality bloom! Already with the care of amazing fosters she is building confidence and trust in people and starting to enjoy lots of attention and pets. She is very curious and we believe that will help her overcome some of her fears. To continue her positive path, Indy needs a home with a calm, confident, and patient human family and at least one other furry pack member to help her settle in. She loves other dogs and enjoys playtime and just being the puppy she should be - and another dog also helps her feel more secure. She is crate trained, walks well on leash, and knows some basic commands, which she will enjoy continuing to work on as a bonding exercise in her new home. She has shown she already knows how to counter surf, has chewed on some items, can easily jump a 4' fence, and is still working on house training (she is still a puppy after all so that is to be expected!). Indy travels well in the car and even tried nose work so is definitely ready to learn and have outdoor adventures with her pack and chilling on the couch at home!
