Our Big Girl Nicki is still searching for her furever home!
Nicki is 70lbs of pure love. Found on the Natchez Trace Parkway near the Alabama/Tennessee border by a good Samaritan that just couldn't leave this sweet old girl out to defend for herself, Nicki is looking for a furever family that wants to give and get a whole lotta big girl hound love.
Nicki is a 6-7 years old Treeing Walker Coonhound. Her fave things are getting spoiled with pets and kisses, watching plenty of TV on some comfy dog beds, eating treats and roaming around the yard smelling the fresh air.
Nicki is dog-friendly, but she prefers to be the biggest dog in the room and is not a huge fan of puppy antics (they stress her out, so she will hide or bark). She loves people of all ages (though she can be a trip hazard considering she has no idea she is not a tiny lap dog). She loves walks, but is a slow walker (it is all about the smells).
Nicki will need a home with limited stairs (she is a little clumsy) and a large fenced in backyard as she loves to wonder, smell and patrol the perimeter of her foster yard. Nicki does love to nap in her crate, but will opt for a human bed or the couch if that's where her people are.
Nicki has not been cat tested, but we are still working on that.
Nicki's adoption fee is only $150 as a senior girly and she comes fully vetted, spayed and microchipped.
