My story

Aramis is a primarily white with black and grey tabby. We believe he is the brother of "Amara" a former Chance at Life family member who joined us back in February 2020 as a young kitten. Aramis had made an appearance just once since then and then showed back up on Monday, October 19, 2020 looking for food. We trapped him in under 5 minutes.

Aramis is sweet, but a little nervous at first. He is quick to purr and enjoys having his butt scratched. Being with other cats and kittens makes him happy. He will stand up and purr to greet them.

Approximate DOB 10/7/19

Up to date on vaccinations, neutered and FIV/FeLV/HWT negative.

You must be at least 18 years of age to adopt. If you live in a parent or guardian's home, they must complete the application. An application does not guarantee an adoption. Our cats and kittens are not adopted on a first come, first served basis, but whom we feel would be the best fit for our cats and kittens.

If interested please e-mail us at Chanceatliferescue@gmail.com or download an application from our websitehttp://www.chanceatlifecatrescue.com/.

Why adoption is a great option

Aramis, a River Edge Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in River Edge, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in River Edge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in River Edge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a River Edge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in River Edge paves the way for another one to be saved.
