It’s tough writing this. I’ve had Penny for the better part of seven years. Unfortunately, my life has changed and I no longer have the ability to give her the love and attention she deserves on a regular basis. With that said and with a heavy heart, I’m looking for a “forever home” that can give her all she deserves.
Penny is absolutely beautiful 7 year old female. That face of hers just melts your heart and you just can’t resist wanting to hug her. Penny is very much a Brittany, she just loves to meet new people, dogs, and anything else on four legs. She gets a little excited when people come over. She just wants to get to know who that strange new person is at the door. After about five minutes, she’s sprawled out on the floor relaxing. Penny wants to be by your side almost every minute. She doesn’t like not knowing where you are and what you’re doing. Just be careful if you have your back to her. She will most likely lay down right behind your feet and start to doze off.
Penny is also little mischievous and a notorious counter-surfer, you just have to remember to pick up after yourself. With that said she does have basic commands down and with a little obedience work she would be a wonder dog. Penny also, loves her squeaky toys, snuggling next to you and being showered with affection. What girl doesn’t! She is great with kids, adults, and other dogs. Aside from getting excited when she meets new people and animals, she is very mild mannered. Penny also needs to be walked and played with throughout the week to burn off that energy.
